Pioneer Museum Receives Cultural Trust Grant

The Oregon Cultural Trust has announced that the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum has been chosen as the recipient of a $10,000 grant for the cultural assessment of Kilchis Point, a 200-acre site of cultural, historical and environmental significance. The goal of the Museum’s project is to develop interpretive trails that will highlight Tillamook Indians and white settlement heritage as well as the rich environmental resources at the site.(more)
